A community reaps well-documented economic benefits when located near a college or university. But perhaps just as important is the cultural impact. The Bridges and Pathways College Partnership is in the midst of planning a shared cultural series that will multiply that impact, providing entertainment and learning opportunities for all ages.
The shared series began in fall 2017 with a common book read. Students, faculty, staff and community members read Jerusalem: One City, Three Faiths by Karen Armstrong and came together for discussions and events on the four campuses. The series will culminate in the spring, with trips to Jerusalem and Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C.
